My lessons give you a step-by-step approach tailored to your needs as a producer, so you can build skills efficiently, get direct feedback, and focus on what truly makes a difference in your music.

Many traditional piano teachers focus on classical pieces, sight-reading, and exams.

My lessons focus heavily on the creative side of piano playing—chord progressions, improvisation, melody writing, and practical music theory—so you can write and express your own music, rather than just recreating others’ songs.

Reading notation is a part of the curriculum, but it’s not the primary focus.

I teach it as a tool for developing musical understanding—helping you recognise patterns, analyse chord progressions, and communicate ideas more effectively—rather than just as a means to play other people’s songs. 

You don’t need years of training to start seeing progress!

With regular practice, you’ll quickly get comfortable crafting chord progressions and melodies.

Within a few months, you’ll notice a real difference in how naturally ideas flow and how confidently you can experiment with improvisation and composition.

Even 10-15 minutes a day can make a huge difference, if you focus on the right things.

I teach musical exercises that directly strengthen your ability to create and compose music, ensuring every practice session helps you develop skills that translate into better songwriting and production.

You'll also learn how to practise effectively, so you won't waste any time.

As long as your MIDI keyboard has at least 4 octaves, you'll be absolutely fine to get started.

As you progress, you'll probably want to go for a full-sized keyboard with weighted keys, and a sustain pedal – but that's something I can help you with later.

Not at all! My lessons follow a step-by-step, progressive approach that makes learning feel natural and keeps you moving forward with consistent momentum.

Each skill builds on the last, making progress quick and inevitable—without the frustration of feeling stuck. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to learn, improve, and create!

If you ever feel like you're not making progress, we’ll talk it through—I see it as my responsibility to help you learn in a way that suits you.

Developing piano and composition skills takes time, so I encourage you to stick with it long enough to experience real improvement.

That said, there are no long-term commitments—you're free to stop lessons anytime.
